About Us
The Raices Foundation is a Christian nonprofit showing love to people during their most vulnerable season. Our current projects include providing resources to patients with cancer. We aim to connect resources to patients whose first language is not English. Assistance is threefold: financial, wellness, and spiritual. Furthermore, we provide book donations to correctional institutions in the Northeast of the United States. We also conduct food drives in Bucaramanga, Colombia.
We provide personalized prayer for everyone who seeks it as we have seen the power of prayer manifest itself in our lives. Our grounding values include embodying and living out the love of God with everyone and following the commandment to love our neighbor as ourselves. The Raices Foundation does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender expression, age, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of our staff, clients, volunteers, subcontractors, and vendors.

We aim to be a light in the world sharing hope, and faith in difficult times.

Our Programs
Raices Cancer Program
We offer financial assistance and support for cancer patients who speak languages other than English while promoting faith and wellness. We believe in the power of hope and resilience. Yolanda Vargas has inspired the creation of this program, and we continue this program to spread God's miracles to others.
Raices Prison Program
We understand the importance of providing access to reading materials for rehabilitation in correctional institutions. Our mission is to bring books to those in need within the Northeastern United States. We hold the firm belief that everyone deserves a chance for redemption. As we continue to grow, we are committed to expanding our efforts to impact more lives positively.
Raices Food Insecurity Program
Our goal is to address food insecurity in Colombia soon. We organize food drives in Bucaramanga, Colombia, which assist those in most in need, intending to expand our efforts to other regions in the future.
